Only the very youngest leaves, still covered with short white hair or down are used. The absence of withering, rolling and oxidation leaves the appearance of the leaves essentially unaltered. Produces a pale yellow cup with a mildy sweet and fresh flavor. A wonderful summer tea when chilled
